Ms. Fernandez was born in Sudbury, Ontario, which is located in Canada, and moved to Miami, Florida when she was eight years old. Ms. Fernandez attended Barry University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-K to Primary, Master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education, and Educational Specialist’s degree in Educational Computer & Technology. She has been at Alpha Charter of Excellence since they opened their doors in 2012.  She inspires to make sure every child she comes in contact with learn, but it may not be in the same way or same day.
