Ms. Rivera was raised in Miami, Florida and graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading from St. Thomas University. Ms. Rivera has been teaching for nine years. She has been working at Alpha Charter of Excellence for seven years now. Her goal is to inspire students to a lifelong love of reading and writing.
